Biological Diversity Research and Application Center (HUBIOM) aims to;

a) Become a reference center through the activities it conducts by examining, protecting and collecting the biological diversity of Turkey,

b) Offer theoretical and practical education regarding biological diversity to people from different social statuses, conduct basic and applied researches and projects, and to create a biological diversity database by collecting and storing data in line with its purposes as it is obliged to protect all the species, genetic structure and the ecosystem constituting the basic components of the biological diversity in Turkey in accordance with international agreements,

c) Establish herbariums, museums, arboreta, greenhouses and gene banks including the biological diversities of Turkey, cooperate with national and international agencies and institutions in line with their purposes, and to offer consultancy services.
